Poydras Home’s PHASE Senior Day Program

Our PHASE Senior Day Program offers the same welcoming environment that our full-time residents enjoy, while helping families keep their loved one at home longer. Participation in PHASE affords their family the flexibility to work or have a respite from caregiving. The PHASE Program offers non-residential care and programming to people over age 60 who are in need of specialized care and companionship during the day due to physical limitations or memory support needs. Attendance can be as often as five days per week. Participants receive needed professional medical and personal care assistance and are integrated into the daily life enrichment programming of Poydras Home. Transportation and additional meals are available for a small supplemental fee. Experiencing PHASE is also a great way to get acquainted with the Poydras Home community before making the decision to potentially become a resident.
