Poydras Home. If an evacuation is called for, residents and
staff will move to a facility out of harms way.

The lights are back on at Poydras Home.

There is still no power at Ollie Steel Burden. Please
contact Erin Provosty at Ollie Steel Burden to discuss the return to
Poydras Home.

Everyone is doing fine. Electricity has been going on and off
periodically.
Only tropical storm winds were felt at Ollie Steel Burden.
We will post another update tomorrow.

All residents and support staff have arrived at Ollie Steel
Burden. Everyone is resting comfortably. We will posting
additional updates as we have information. Stay Safe!

Due to the projected path of Hurricane Gustav we feel that it is
in the best interest of the residents to evacuate to Ollie Steel
Burden Manor. We will begin evacuating Saturday, August 30,
2008 in the morning. This will allow us the time needed to get
the residents settled and comfortable while waiting for everything
to pass.
We will be using this site to keep everyone updated. Please
check back for further information.
