Hurricane Gustav Update
September 3, 2008
GREAT NEWS!!!! The lights are back on at
Poydras Home. We are returning on Friday, September 5, 2008
and will need everyone to report to work as usual. If you have
concerns please call Jay or Erin at Ollie Steel Burden as soon as
possible. See you on Friday!

We need all employees to call in to Michelle at Ollie Steel
Burden to report your status. Poydras Home is anticipating
opening on Friday, September 5, 2008.
August 30, 2008
Due to the projected path of Hurricane Gustav we feel that it is
in the best interest of the residents to evacuate to Ollie Steel
Burden Manor. We will begin evacuating Saturday, August 30,
2008 in the morning. This will allow us the time needed to get
the residents settled and comfortable while waiting for everything
to pass.
If you are part of the evacuation staff please report to work at
the appropriate time. If you are not part of the evacuation
staff please check back periodically for updates of when we will be
returning to New Orleans.
