What to do to make a gift to Poydras Home
Gifts in the form of a check can be written to Poydras Home and sent to the Development Director, Poydras Home, 5354 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70115. As Poydras Home is a non-profit, gifts are tax deductible.

Credit card gifts can be made by calling Poydras Home at (504) 897-0535. Mastercard and Visa are accepted.

Gifts of Stock
Some donors choose to make a gift to Poydras Home in the form of securities. A gift of stock may benefit the donor by avoidance of capital gains tax on appreciated securities. For more information please contact Charlotte Thomas Development Director at (504) 897-0535.

Gifts of Tangible and Intangible Property
You may make a donation to Poydras Home with real estate, personal property or life insurance.

Testamentary Gifts
Bequests and other estate gifts may offer significant tax advantages while allowing donors to make important contributions to the future of Poydras Home.

Volunteering
